Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Heard, a tool for songwriters and producers to manage the music they pitch. By creating an account you agree to them. Heard is operated by Ryan Boer, based in the Netherlands.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your login details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
What Heard does on your behalf
Heard sends email through your own mailbox and, if you switch a pitch to send automatically, may send follow-ups without asking you first. That is your decision to make and your responsibility once made. By default nothing is sent without your approval.
The assistant drafts messages that are shown to you before sending. It can be wrong. You are responsible for reading anything that goes out under your name.
How you may not use it
Heard is built for personal, relevant pitching to people you have a genuine reason to contact. It is not a bulk email tool, and using it as one damages your own sending reputation as much as anything else. Specifically, you may not:
- Send unsolicited bulk mail, or the same message to a large list of recipients.
- Use purchased, scraped, or otherwise non-consensual contact lists.
- Misrepresent who you are, or send on someone else’s behalf without permission.
- Pitch material you do not have the right to pitch.
- Attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
We apply sending limits by default to protect your deliverability, and we may pause sending on an account with a high bounce or complaint rate.
Your content
Your music, your contacts, and your correspondence remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store, process and transmit that content on your instructions. We claim no ownership of your work.
Availability
Heard is in active development and provided as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change. We will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost deals, or lost income arising from your use of Heard. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless prevented by law. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes belong to the competent courts of the Netherlands.
