Why free, and for how long
Heard is in a private beta capped at 100 accounts, and places open in small batches. Everyone in it is helping decide what this becomes, which is worth more right now than a subscription.
When there is a paid plan it will cover what genuinely costs money to run. Sending limits will never be part of it.
No. Heard sends through your own Gmail, so pitches come from your address and replies land in your inbox. Stop using Heard tomorrow and every conversation is still sitting there.
No. Only mail from people you have saved as contacts, plus replies on threads it started. Newsletters, your bank, your family: it reads the sender and leaves them alone.
No, and we never will. That needs a hidden tracking image. Heard does not ship one, so there is no Opened column and nothing on your board is a guess.
Not without you. Jerry drafts a follow-up when a pitch goes quiet and waits for you to approve it. He reads replies too, but his reading never moves your board.
They stay yours. Never shared, never sold, never used to train anybody else’s model. You can disconnect your mailbox at any time, from Heard or from Google.
Heard is built not to. Sending is capped, spaced out, kept to working hours, and every pitch has to carry something written for that person. Your sending reputation is the thing you cannot buy back.
